For years, I’ve tracked the slow collapse of buildings and properties across NSW, places the world moved past. From weathered farmhouses to hollowed-out industrial sites, this series is a study of what happens when the footsteps stop.
Most of these structures are gone now, leveled by urban sprawl or reclaimed by the dirt. This project wasn't just about documenting decay; it was about capturing the dignity in these spaces before they vanished for good. These frames are the final archive of a history that no longer exists
ELYSIAN RETREAT, WHITSUNDAYS
Elysian is the most secluded all-inclusive kid free island escape in the Whitsundays; a rare point where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. I headed out to capture the balance between high-end luxury and true sustainability on an island that caps its guest list at just twenty.
Whether you touch down by helicopter from Hamilton Island or pull up by boat, the energy shifts immediately. My work here focuses on that transition: the privacy of the ten oceanfront villas, the five-star service from a small, dedicated team, and the absolute stillness of an oasis designed for those who need to disappear for a while.
