FINCA LA TORRE
Finca La Torre is an award-winning producer of organic and Biodynamic Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Málaga, Spain. Renowned for excellence, they produce high-quality, sustainable olive oils, particularly the Hojiblanca variety, which are recognized for their intense, fruity, and complex profiles.
This series was captured over two days in the heart of Antequera, documenting the harvest of what is widely considered the world’s best olive oil. To tell the story of Finca la Torre, I wanted to move beyond the bottle and focus on the raw, industrial poetry of the extraction, the dust, the workers, the vibration, and the heritage that goes into every drop.
Shot during the peak of the season, we utilised the low, sweeping golden light of the Spanish afternoon to emphasize the textures of the ancient groves and the mechanical intensity of the shake.
These images capture the transition from the sun-drenched trees to the precision of the award-winning press. It’s a study of a landmark producer that balances centuries of tradition with modern technical mastery, resulting in a visual narrative as refined as the oil itself. This olive oil is the most amazing spicy high quality olive oil I have ever tasted and I need more of it in my life!
