QANTAS
Working with Qantas to capture Australian animals of Western Australia meant finding the balance between wild landscapes and the quiet moments of its most famous residents. This project was a study of the high-contrast whites and surreal blues that define the coastline, from the southern edges of the state up to the islands of the west.
The brief took me to the blinding sands of Lucky Bay, documenting kangaroos against some of the most vibrant turquoise water in the country. From there, it was across to the rugged bushland of Rottnest Island to capture the personality of the local quokkas and koalas in their natural element. These images aren't just about the scenery; they are about the texture of the Australian wild and the invitation to see it in its purest light
